Bailey Sherwood is a queer interdisciplinary artist who currently resides in Medford, Massachusetts, where she is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree through the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in Boston. Sherwood is primarily an oil painter, but also works in sculpture. Her work is concerned with queerness and reproduction under dominant colonial and capitalist institutions. She graduated from George Fox University with a degree in Studio Arts and Arts Administration in 2023. Following graduation, she has participated as an artist in residence at the Fish Factory, Creative Center of Stöðvarfjörður, in Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland, and at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont.
